In this video, you will learn about solar energy. All of the energy we use comes from the sun. The sun is also the ultimate source of energy produced by wind, water, and others.

The rays of the sun help the plants grow that become wood and gas. All of the solar energy that reaches the earth’s surface is utilized. Right now, we rely on coal, oil, and natural gas. These sources are not renewable, which means, they will eventually run out. If we keep using these resources at the rate we are now, we might run out. They are also polluting our planet and contributing to climate change. The Earth’s energy will not run out for another five billion years. All of the energy we can get from wind and water is still less than solar energy. Solar panels directly concert sunlight into energy. Another way to harness solar energy is through concentrated solar power. There are still many challenges with using solar energy for a long period of time. The changing of seasons, day to night, and clouds in the sky can reduce the amount of solar energy. To learn more, keep watching this video for more information.
