While it will depend on the specialty or specialties of these professionals, once all of their basic certification and licensing requirements have been completed, 94% of massage therapists will enroll in continuing education classes, or continuing education units (CEU).

According to the most recent Global Shapers Survey, participants throughout the world have taken courses online. This amounted to 77.84% of the participants. Furthermore, 40.5% of these global respondents stated that they had a positive experience with online learning. More specifically, they reported that their experience with taking classes online was as effective as taking these classes in a traditional classroom setting.
